La Romana: Dominican Republic

In September 2019, The Sports Creative again partnered with Love.fútbol and The Pincus Family Foundation to deliver a sports & arts for development program in the Juan Pablo Duarte community in Villa Hermosa. The program, which launched after the inauguration of the field on 17 November, offers basketball, volleyball, football, and the arts to community children. The Sports Creative trained two local coordinators overseeing 6 local coaches. Available to the whole community, up to 50 children are expected to participate in each activity. Each session links to a particular key impact pillar as selected by the coaches with a focus on the development and inclusion of all children. The Sports Creative provides ongoing support on monitoring & evaluation.
